🚀 Love this metaphor by Fernanda Read is all about reinvention with purpose.
In Supply Chain, we face this challenge every day.
We try to improve performance using the same tools, the same Excel files, the same processes designed for another era…
But as Fernanda said “if we never break the pattern, tomorrow is just yesterday on repeat.”
Sometimes, the smartest move isn’t to go faster, it’s to change the wheel first:
• Replace outdated systems with agile planning tools.
• Rethink stock management rules.
• Redesign decision loops to match today’s volatility.
🔄 Reinvention doesn’t always mean revolution, it means adapting to stay relevant.
